Game Configuration Guides

Use these guides to choose a Server size, configure the settings that matter most, and join your server after it reaches Running. Available regions, Server tiers, Server sizes, and hourly prices are shown before you create a server.

Choose a Server tier and Server size

Server tier selects the infrastructure quality available in a region: Lite, Standard, or Premium. Server size selects the game-specific capacity: Small, Medium, or Large. Start with Small for a new or lightly used server, then consider a larger size for more players, larger worlds, automation-heavy gameplay, or mods. Actual needs vary by game state and play style.

You can change the region, Server tier, or Server size later from Server Settings. Applying a change while the server is running restarts it and disconnects players. A change saved while the server is stopped takes effect on the next start.

Configure and connect

Set the server name, password, and game-specific options during creation. Afterward, stop the server before editing Game Settings, select Save Settings, and start it again to apply the saved configuration.

When the server is Running, its Console shows the Domain Name, IP Address, and Password. Use the connection method in the game guide and share only the details your players need. The required player connection ports are configured for you.

Mods and Player Management

The Mods blade is available for Don't Starve Together, Factorio, and Minecraft: Java Edition. Mod changes are applied when the server starts; if it is already running, the Console asks you to confirm Save & Restart. All players need a compatible game version and matching mod set.

Player Management is available for the games marked above. Depending on the game, it can show connected players and offer actions such as kick, ban, unban, make admin, or broadcast. The server must be running, and the actions shown in the Console are the supported actions for that game.
