Choosing a Region

The region is the location where your game server runs. The creation wizard shows only regions and configurations currently available for the selected game.

Choose for your player group

Network distance usually affects latency. A practical choice is the region closest to most of the people who will play, or a central location when the group is spread across several areas.

The wizard may preselect a nearby eligible region. Treat that as a starting point: compare the available Server tier, Server size, and hourly rate before confirming.

Availability differs by region

Not every region offers every Server tier or Server size. Selecting a region updates the configurations available there. If a preferred size is missing, compare another nearby region.

The available list can change, so use the choices and prices displayed in the wizard rather than an older saved list.

Change the region later

Open the server's Server Settings to choose another available region. If the server is Running, applying the change restarts it and disconnects players. If it is Stopped, the new configuration applies the next time it starts.

Review the displayed hourly rate before applying the change. See Server Settings for the full behavior.
