Creating a Server
The creation wizard collects the choices needed to prepare your game server. Review the hourly rate and game options carefully before submitting.
Choose the basics
Enter a server name and optional password, then choose:
- A region near the players who will use the server.
- A Server tier that describes the hosting platform level available in that region.
- A Server size that describes the game-specific Small, Medium, or Large capacity.
Available tiers, sizes, and prices vary by game and region. See Choosing a Region and Choosing a Server Tier and Server Size.
Configure the game
Set the game-specific options shown in the wizard. For games that support mods, you can also select them before creation. Some mod sources require account details before selected mods can be downloaded.
Review and create
The review step shows your selections and the hourly rate in your wallet currency. Creating the server charges one full hour upfront.
If your balance cannot cover that first hour, the server remains Stopped and no hosting starts. Top up your credits, then press Start from the Console when you are ready.
If the charge succeeds, the server enters Starting. Open it from your Console and follow its status on Overview. When startup completes, it changes to Running and displays its connection details.
Do not submit the creation form again from another tab while the first request is being handled; each successful submission creates a separate server and can charge a separate first hour.
