Automation
Use Automation to schedule server lifecycle actions and, for supported games, messages to online players. Open a server from the Console and select Automation.
Auto-start and Auto-shutdown
Choose active days, a timezone, and an Auto-start time, an Auto-shutdown time, or both. The two actions are independent: you can schedule only start, only shutdown, or both on the same selected days.
Scheduled lifecycle actions follow the same status and billing rules as pressing Start or Stop. Auto-start uses the owner's Banked Hour or credits, and Auto-shutdown preserves save data and pauses billing after shutdown completes.
See Auto-start and Auto-shutdown.
Repeating Broadcast
For games with broadcast support, Repeating Broadcast sends one configured message per interval while the server is Running. One message repeats; several messages rotate.
See Repeating Broadcast.
Access and availability
A shared viewer may be able to see an Automation schedule without being allowed to change it. Repeating Broadcast is owner-only and appears only when the selected game supports broadcasts. The Console shows only the automation controls available for that server and viewer.
Automation does not override lifecycle restrictions. A scheduled action can be skipped when the server is already in the requested state or fail when its normal preconditions are not met.
