Auto-start and Auto-shutdown

Set a weekly routine so your server starts or stops on selected days. You need the Automation role permission to save a schedule; all resulting charges belong to the owner.

Create or change a schedule

  1. Open the server's Automation section.
  2. Select at least one Active days button.
  3. Choose Timezone for the clock your group wants to follow.
  4. Turn on Auto-start, Auto-shutdown, or both, then enter a time for each enabled action.
  5. Select Save schedule and wait for Schedule saved.
  6. Reopen Automation to confirm the saved days, timezone, switches, and times.

Turn an action's switch off and save to disable it. Clearing an enabled action's time produces a validation message; use the switch instead. Turn both off and save to disable the whole rule.

One pair of times applies to all selected days. You cannot set a different time for each day in the same rule.

Plan the timing

Schedule times follow the selected timezone, which may differ from your browser's local clock. Future occurrences follow that timezone's daylight-saving changes where applicable.

Start and shutdown are independent events on each selected calendar day. For example, selecting Friday with start at 20:00 and shutdown at 01:00 means 01:00 Friday, not the following Saturday. The same-day rule cannot express a Friday-only evening start with a Saturday-only shutdown. Use a suitable recurring pattern or stop manually instead.

Allow time for startup before players arrive. The scheduled start time is not a promise that the game will be ready at that instant.

Credits and server state

Auto-start uses any available Banked Hour, subject to a difference payment if a newly chosen configuration is more expensive than its paid level. Without banked time, the owner needs enough credits for one full hour.

If credits are insufficient, the server stays Stopped. If it is already active or another operation prevents starting, the occurrence may take no action. A failed or skipped occurrence is not continuously retried; top up if needed and use Start manually, or wait for the next scheduled occurrence.

Auto-shutdown uses the normal Stop process. It does not delete the server; unused paid time is banked and hourly billing is paused. An already stopped server needs no further shutdown.

Check an unexpected result

Check the saved timezone, day, enabled switch, time, owner's credits, and status on Overview. Read Activity Log for completed starts/stops or errors; it is not a complete schedule-run history.

Manually stopping does not cancel the next Auto-start. Disable it when you want the server to stay stopped. For ongoing problems, follow automation troubleshooting and include the scheduled local time and timezone when asking for help.
