Running Out of Credits
Restore service when your wallet cannot cover a required charge. Your credit balance does not go below zero; insufficient credits do not automatically delete your server.
Identify what could not be paid
Sign in and check Credit Balance in Console, then open the affected server:
- New server: with insufficient credits, it is listed but remains Stopped, without being prepared for play or charged the first hour.
- Active server: if it cannot pay the next hourly charge, it is stopped. The unpaid hour is not added as wallet debt.
- Configuration change: if a required additional charge cannot be paid, the change cannot proceed. Reopen the settings and check the saved selection before retrying; do not assume every displayed setting reverted automatically.
Do not rely on exhausting the wallet as your normal way to stop hosting. Use Stop deliberately when finished.
Add credits and restart
- Open Buy Credits and choose enough for the required charge, considering other servers using the same wallet.
- Complete payment and wait for confirmation that credits have been added.
- Return to Console and check Credit Balance.
- Open the stopped server and select Start.
- Wait for Running, then use its current connection details.
Adding credits is not itself a manual start request. If the old prepaid hour was exhausted, starting requires a new full-hour charge. See buying credits and connecting.
Retry a configuration change
After confirming the top-up, reopen Server Settings, review the rate and charge, and submit the desired change again. A rejected change is not automatically retried by topping up.
Prevent the next interruption
Check balances before long sessions, account for every running server, and review Cost & Usage. Stop unneeded servers or choose an appropriate lower-cost size rather than depending on a last-minute payment.
If the server still will not start
Check whether payment is still processing and whether another server has used the balance. For missing credits, use payment troubleshooting. For a funded server that still stops, follow unexpected-stop help, including the server name, status, and approximate time when contacting support.
