Player Management

Use Player Management to inspect players and perform the moderation actions integrated for your game. Not every game has this section, and supported games do not all have the same actions.

Before using player controls

The server must be Running for the current roster and player actions. Viewing requires View info; moderation requires the Players role permission. Starting a stopped server uses the owner's banked time or credits.

Wait briefly after startup for the first roster. An empty or delayed list alone does not prove that nobody is connected.

Review players

  1. Open the server from Console and select Player Management.
  2. Check Online Players and the name or identifier of the intended player.
  3. Use Banned Players to review bans managed for this server.

For supported games, join/leave history appears under Player Log in Activity Log. This is separate from the current roster.

Perform a supported action

Select the action beside the correct player, then review and complete any confirmation:

  • Kick disconnects the player from the current session; it is not a ban.
  • Ban prevents rejoining until the ban is removed.
  • Unban removes a recorded ban; it does not automatically reconnect the player.
  • Make Admin, where offered, grants rights inside the game.

For a one-time server-wide announcement, use Broadcast Message, enter the text, and submit it only when ready to send it to online players. Do not include passwords or private information.

Wait for the game to process the action and check the updated roster or ban list. Do not assume a submitted request has already taken effect. Requests made while the server is not Running are not saved for execution later.

Bans, admin rights, and limitations

Recorded bans remain across normal stops and starts until an authorized person uses Unban. In-game admin rights are separate from Roles & Sharing permissions; neither automatically grants the other.

Names and identifier formats vary by game. Confirm the target carefully rather than assuming matching display names identify the same person.

If an action is missing, check the game's capabilities and your role. If an available action repeatedly fails while Running, note the game, action, time, and displayed error for support. Keep full player identifiers out of public messages. See the game guide for supported administration methods.
